Global Woman Summit To Be Postponed

WASHINGTON – The Global Woman Summit, scheduled for Saturday, October 8th to Tuesday, October 11th at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill has been postponed until a later date to be determined, due to security reasons.

Today’s global security is extremely important, and since the utmost security measures are still being worked on, it is in the best interest to postpone the summit. This summit involves many high profile confirmed speakers and award nominees, therefore it is in the best interest to postpone the event until the organization meets all security measures as briefed by the security team.

Global Woman CEO and magazine publisher Angela Peabody said it was a difficult, but thoughtful decision to reschedule.

“We plan to recalibrate the conference entirely to ensure it is in alignment with the Global Woman “brand”, Peabody said. “We will continue to work tirelessly for a flawless execution. I regret any inconvenience this may cause to those who are scheduled to attend.”
